I guess it will come as no surprise to anyone that my models are being produced and sold illegally. But how? The story of how this happened is long and complex and ultimately rather sad, and so there is no need to go into great detail. Suffice it to say that my previous manufacturer was fired by me due to increasingly severe problems with low quality, cheap construction materials and shoddy build quality in general. Now, he’s producing the same rubbish and selling it to unscrupulous people who don’t mind buying and selling illegally produced, badly made models. A ray of sunshine: Despite the fact that I lost over $60,000 stolen, I re-made the moulds for most of the models, but while I was at it I took the opportunity to make modifications – many of which were suggested by you guys - that made the planes better to fly, and also made the installations easier. Now they are all lighter, stronger, with better fit and finish. So, let’s look on the bright side - it wasn’t all bad!

But Gentlemen, I urge you, please don’t buy illegal copies What you see is NOT what you get: I think the wise Taiwan guys sum it up best. They amusingly call the rip off models “Strawberries”: They look great, on the outside, for a short while… From my side, I cannot express enough thanks and gratitude to those discerning people who have supported and had faith in me and refused the temptation to save a few bucks - it says an awful lot about your morals and integrity. Thanks guys - I cannot say more.

If you see any model elsewhere that is not presented here on this site, you can be sure that it in fact either a blatant copy or unauthorized version and will not live up to Aeroic quality standards.
